Re: (Untitled)
Hi! I moved over to Perth just over a year ago from the states right after DH and I got married. I can relate to you on this - it is so hard to make friends and I often feel lonely, sad and take it out on my poor husband. He has spent his whole life moving around from place to place so he knows how it is and constantly telling me to join sport or clubs but it really is hard to put yourself out there- don't feel that you're the only one. I've managed to join a book club and am lucky to have a couple of DH's cousins to spend time with when I need to be around females! I'm still looking to join a sports team this summer to expand my nonexistent social life
Are you working? Is there anyone you can relate to there? Does your husband have friends that are also married? Sometimes it just helps to know one person that knows a lot of others to get you out there!
