Hey there!
I've been on the Loestrin 24 FE for going on 2 1/2 years and I too had these symptoms at first... actually, my first month I had my period for 2 weeks straight, then stopped for like 5 days then I had it again for about another 2 weeks. After about 4 or 5 months, I ended up with a barely there period.. it was to the point where I barely even had to where a pad! I LOVED it because prior to going on the pill, I had HEAVY periods where I would have to change the ULTRA tampons every 2 hours and STILL had to wear a pad to prevent staining. After month 6 or 7, my periods STOPPED. I was in heaven! Even better, I ended losing 20 lbs after getting on the pill, weird huh?
Now, different story. I guess since I've been taking them for so long and have had NO cycles in forever, my libido has almost completely gone. It drives me and my hubby NUTS! Another TMI note, but before starting on the BC I was a real horn dog! LOL So now, I'm looking for some other type of BC becuase it's really starting to cause me problems in marriage
I also noticed that my drive to do ANYTHING has just been shot which I notice more and more the longer I'm on the pill. It's gotten to the point where my OB/GYN has had me come in for extra testing
