I chose "on my hard drive" because that's where most of my photos are. I have some duplicates on FB and Shutterfly, some older ones on CDs or another computer.
The problem is when I get a new computer, I then need to move hundreds of photos (if not more) to the new computer or to somewhere else. Currently, my old laptop is lying around still because I still haven't moved the photos yet. The photos from 2 computers ago are on CDs. I'd really like to get it all together some how! I'm a little wary of storing them all online ONLY...

an external hard drive, some other type of external back up, we upload to shutterfly, and we burn them to CD.
