Are you doing any sports or classes with 2-4 year old boys?

We are starting soccer this Sat.  It is more of a sports class that will show him how to share and play team activities- ha ha- not competitive.  Looking into other activities for the winter since this will end Nov.  We did gymboree last year and he loved it but looking for something different.  Please share recommendations and if you are in Delco or Main Line areas, share where you are doing the activitiy with me.

  • we're not doing anything this fall since our schedule is so wacky, but I'm planning on swimming lessons again in the new year. He'll be in school 5 days a week till 330, so I'm not worried about those days. I am thinking we may do a music class in Wayne on Saturdays, but I'm still unsure.

  • Would Swim Lessons be an option?

  • We were going to look into swim classes at the Ardmore Y. But, I haven't visited the Y yet or looked into it! I'd need it to be in the evenings or preferably on weekends though.

  • I wand to do something this fall but everything really is geared towards two yr olds so I'm waiting to the new year.

Ill do storytime and try to find one other activity that we can drop in. Even if it's just a storytime at another location.

  • I'm not a mom, but I'm pretty nice aunt Wink

When my oldest nephew was 3, and before he moved to Scotland, I had him enrolled at the Y.  His mom waitressed on Saturdays, so I signed him up for Saturday soccer classes.  It was definitely not a competitive class, but taught basic soccer skills, coordination, and allowed him to interact with other kids.  It was not a mommy and me class, but all of the parents stayed each class and would occasionally take part. I'm assuming this was because of the younger age bracket.

Anyway, the classes were pretty cheap, and they were discounted if your child was a member of the Y.
