Most of you have seen this already, but Liam Alexander was born 9/6 at 10:37am via scheduled C-section! He weighed 7lbs 15oz (his sister was 6lbs 12oz) and 20.75" long. He's perfectly healthy, content, and absolutely gorgeous, of course
His father and I are smitten, but his sister is positively obsessed.
We're still in the hospital, at least through tomorrow, possibly through Sunday. My recovery is going exceptionally well and we're complication-free! Here's a quick photo!

Congratulations, he is precious!! And you look great as well!
So were all the health scares during pregnancy false alarm after all? I am glad to hear that he is healthy!
Thank you so much, everyone!
No, not quite a false alarm, but they amounted to an issue that wasn't terribly severe. We'll follow up with a pediatric cardiologist to have an echo performed and see how his heart is, but so far, he doesn't appear to have breathing or swallowing issues. The heart defect is there, it's just not enough to cause an issue with his quality of life, thankfully!

Thanks again, ladies!
Our first night home was pretty hellish, unfortunately, but today has been infinitely better. It's great to be home, back in our own bed, and setting into the newborn-at-home rhythm.
And because I'm an AW and madly in love with this photo that I took tonight, I'm sharing
LOVE your siggy pic!

Thank you Shanda!!
Sorry so late, but I wanted to say Congratulations Dani and family! I was in mandatory training all week last week, so I wasn't around much, but I loved seeing your pictures when I checked Facebook during breaks. It looks like Mia is an awesome big sister.
Hugs!
Thanks Maria! Mia's a little over-excited sometimes, but she loves her role as big sister and she's been a HUGE help!
