Design ideas?

So we have an open concept home, and I am kind of having a hard time deciding what to do with one wall in our living room.  One wall in the living room is fully 2 stories tall, and besides for having 2 small windows it is plain.

It is just SO BIG I am not sure what to do with it.  I recently saw a design show on HGTV where they stone mosaic'ed the entire wall, and it looked really cool...however, it would be a huge undertaking and probably pretty expensive.  Most of the photos I see on Houzz, etc. show 2 story walls with more windows than we have or a tall fireplace.  I really wish the builders would have put in another window or something, and I know we could still do it, but again that's a little more money than I'm really looking to spend at this point.

The room:

I kind of like the ideas of curtains like this, but there really isn't any window to frame...unless we framed a series of pieces of art and/or photographs that we hung in a vertical line on the wall:

I also came across this idea of hanging many small photos to cover an area.  Downside would be that it would be a HUGE undertaking, almost as hard as doing a mosaic stone facade:

The other idea I had was maybe to have a large wallpaper or painted feature, like a tree:

Or I suppose I could just pretend the wall was normal wall height, decorate it as such, and just forget about all the empty space above it...

Any thoughts/ideas?
