Started my own wedding planning business!

Hi ladies,

Happy Labor Day! So some of you know that I got laid off in July. Well I am still looking for a job but I thought that I may use this time to start a wedding planning business since I love weddings and have a passion for it. People, including DH have been saying this since our wedding that I should do something with it, and now I'm finally doing it! It's kind of exciting! I'm still going to look for a "regular" job but who knows what this could turn into. If anyone you know is getting married or just need some tips, I could provide the services and the fees will be very nominal since I am just starting out.

That's a big and exciting step! Congrats! And good luck.

I've been toying with the idea.. I might start small with an Etsy shop and see what happens with that.

But this is really exciting! I hope that it's successful for you!

Good luck! I planned just about everything for our wedding and I remember one of my dad's friends suggested to him that I do that for work. I could NEVER plan other people's weddings and deal with cray-cray brides. That being said, BEST OF LUCK and that's very exciting you're all for it! Seriously, it takes a lot of organization and patience so I respect that!
