Highs? Saw my family on Saturday and BIL & SIL on Sunday. Pretty productive weekend.
Lows? Not enough sleep. DH keeps me up too late watching TV.
Eat/make anything good? Ham & mac and cheese at my parents'
Read anything good? No.
Watch anything good? More Sons of Anarchy on Netflix and football last night.
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments, etc? DH has started p90X and I'm very excited for him. But I don't think I'm going to see him very much for the next couple months. Also, not eating out at all is a massive change for us, so I'm not sure how that's gonna go down.
What are you looking forward to this week? A sample cabinet pull arriving in the mail. How freaking sad is that!?

Highs? FIL started refacing our fireplace and I love it. Also had a nice dinner with DH, a nice dinner with my Dad and one of my friends came over too.
Lows? Nothing really. Just went by way too fast.
Eat/make anything good? Went to Lewnes' for DH's birthday dinner and Main Ingredient last night. Both were so good.
Read anything good? Almost done the new Rizzoli & Isles novel.
Watch anything good? Not really. Watched the Hangover 2 for the zillionth time yesterday.
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments, etc? I woke up with a headache today and it still hasn't gone away. I just want to get back in bed.
What are you looking forward to this week? Sons of Anarchy starting and our fireplace being done.

Highs? Nothing really fun this weekend. It was very low key. I didn't really go anywhere or do anything.

Read anything good? nope
Watch anything good? The Hunger Games! But I thought the book was better because a lot of things were left out or done differently. Loved Lenny Kravitz as Cinna. Watched season 1 of Episodes, but thought it was really unfunny. Not going to watch season 2.
What are you looking forward to this week? No big plans this week/weekend coming up. Looking forward to Friday.

Yeah, I watched Season 1 as well and had no desire to watch Season 2. I'm really surprised it got picked up for a 2nd season at all.

A friend of ours was raving about how funny it was, we had to watch it, etc. Then we watch it and were like "wow, this is just not funny." The only thing that was semi-funny is the parts with Matt LeBlanc. The main character (British woman who writes the show) grates on my nerves for some reason. She's just annoying/whiny/bitchy - so it's not funny to me.

Highs? We went to a friend's house for an impromptu gathering on Friday night. A coworker had mentioned a drink she loves -- pumpkin beer with a shot of vanilla vodka. I thought it sounded awesome and it absolutely was, but...
Lows? I was miserably hung over all day Saturday. Note to self: When you add a shot of vodka to a beer, it's like drinking three beers. Therefore, STOP AFTER ONE OR TWO BEERS.
Eat/make anything good? I made a yummy baked spaghetti dish on Saturday night...perfect comfort food when I hadn't been feeling well all day.
Read anything good? Nope, I took this weekend off from reading.
Watch anything good? I watched a couple of the first episodes of "Army Wives" on Netflix. I had never watched it because I have no connection to the military, but it doesn't matter -- it was so good!
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments, etc? This is my own fault, but...I am involved with this charity musical production that benefits the children's theatre and the community college. It's mostly being produced by CTA, so about 3/4 of the cast is teens. I feel like the directors and organizers are so used to working with kids and teens, they're not realizing that there's a group of us adults who need to be treated differently, i.e. recognize that we work all day, that we shouldn't be yelled at the way you lecture kids, etc. I'm kind of wishing I hadn't committed to this because it's taking up so much time and overall irritating me.
What are you looking forward to this week? Happy hour with friends on Thursday evening.

Highs? Went to the O's game on Fri night. We had a blast eventhough they lost. It was the first time I was at an O's/Yanks game and it wasn't over run with Yanks fans. Went out in Bmore afterward and had a blast! Oh and Terps won!!
Lows? I paid for my awesome Fri, by sleeping all day Sat
Eat/make anything good? I made this Mexican pasta dish for dinner on Sat. It was pretty good. I had Ledo's pizza last night at my sorority meeting!
Read anything good? No.
Watch anything good? I'm still watching Brothers and Sisters on Netflix and it keeps getting better and better! I will be very sad when I finish!
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments, etc? I'm trying to find someone to move into the house I'm renting in Annapolis because the renter in my house is moving out in Nov and I want to move back and not have to pay for 2 places for 3 months. It's a little stressful!!

My bestfriend passed away 6 months ago tomorrow and 9/11 is really hard for me to begin with, so this just adds more tragedy to the day!

Highs? we got back from vacation on Friday so we just chilled out this weekend.
Lows? DD doesn't nap on weekends anymore. .. I don't think this is good for us.
Eat/make anything good? We ate out all last week, so it was nice to have dinner at home this weekend. I made stroganoff on Friday and we had steaks Saturday.
Read anything good? I'm rereading Hunger Games
Watch anything good? Finally finished season one of Mad Men and slowly working through Breaking Bad.
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments, etc? We had a really nice vacation w/ just us, no extended family. It was nice, although I was reminded again that I really wouldn't like to be a SAHM. I love DD, but I don't have the patience for the sass.
What are you looking forward to this week? Trying to get myself and DD on an earlier schedule.

Highs? Got to spend Sunday with DH and DD. It is rare that we are off together. I feel like we are two ships passing in the night sometimes.
Lows? Learned some startling news about a friend of BIL. I really hope it isn't true.
Eat/make anything good? we went to Applebees and I had a delicious bacon cheeseburger and fries. I sometimes have cravings for red meat and this hit the spot.
Read anything good? Nothing recently. I need something new to read.
Watch anything good? Started watching the MTV Music Awards
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments, etc? DD is crawling, pulling herself up and yesterday we watched her as she taught herself how to climb a few steps. Out come the gates!
What are you looking forward to this week? The cooler weather. I LERVE fall weather. I love the clothes, Thanksgiving, Halloween, etc. And not having a huge BGE bill!

A large part of it is also probably them being theatre snobs. Some people are just like that in theatre especially if they work with teens. They think they know everything since some people think it's so hard to work with teens in theatre. The teens are the easiest ones!! Good luck and hang in there.
