Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Friday dog shaming...

"I peed on the floor while you were at work becuase i'm mad at you for relocating my kennel. I don't like change.."
I know my dog doesn't like change... and he doesn't like to be in the house by himself.. we've kennel trained him.. he's good with that.
When I moved in with H.. we put Tuck's kennel in the office with the door on it and he had a water bottle and he was good. Well the water bottle started leaking, so we took the door off the kennel and got him a bowl like a real dog and just closed the office door, no mess, we were good.
Last weekend, we moved his kennel out of the office and into the addition we put on the house which was going to be his new "home". He still had his kennel and his food and his water, and a slightly bigger space.. i thought he'd be okay... nope.. he' s mad at us... got home for lunch and had to clean up dog pee off the floor.. which isn't finished yet.. so now we just have pee soaked ply wood sub floor.. yay!
Going to put the kennel door back on, we have a new bottle for him.. and leave him with that for a few weeks and then we'll try leaving him just in the room after that.. but i guess get him used to the space first...
Ugh! He's 4.. and hasn't had an accident in the house in forever!
