Welcome to Monday everyone.
I am watching one of Hannah's friends for a few hours this morning. It should be interested to have two crazy 18/19 month olds here.
At least they get along well.
I have an appointment with an ENT doc this afternoon and a hearing test. I have been having random spells of ear ringing and dizziness that they want to check out. I'm not looking forward to a hearing test.
Re: It's Monday...
I went riding with DH on Saturday to Grand Haven and Holland. It was nice. Yesterday I rode my motorcycle on the highway for the first time - to church.
Don't sweat the hearing test - I had to go to the ENT when I was having dizziness and ear pain for a couple of months. The test was a piece of cake. They never did figure out what was wrong, though :-( They think I must have injured my eardrum when I fell asleep on a flight and it just took time to heal.
Morning all.
We are all moved out.
My parents place is overflowing with stuff. DH hasn't slept much since we've been here. We are sleeping in the basement and he can hear everyone/anyone walking above us. So we have to try and figure that one out. That and the bathroom situation. 1.5 baths for 5 people. The main bath isn't that big and only made smaller by the amount of things all over the place. So it needs a makeover so it is functional and not decorative.
Dh went into the office last night and when he drove home he drove to our house by habit. He said he has to sit in the driveway for a few minutes before he could drive to the correct house.
So get this. Company X has a position for a Law Office coordinator. I apply, and get a letter saying they weren't interviewing any other candidates. Fast forward to this morning and I see the position is reposted. So I call to see what's up. HR tells me that they aren't considering candidates who have completed their law degree. Apparently there has been a lot of them
What the hell? I'm sick of this. I went down the wrong career path or something...
Our little morning play date went well. The girls are used to playing together so they shared nicely and there were no melt downs!
Deeder, I hope that you guys are able to get settled in at your parent's quickly and figure out how to make room for all of you.
BngG, Seriously?! That stinks about that job. It's hard when you need to start somewhere but no one will let you.
TW - Hope that you are able to see your brother soon, I'm sure he will understand why you weren't able to be there.
Charity - Sorry to hear that things are still not going well with you and the H.
BnG: Say what!???!!! That is some craziness.
Charity: Deep Breaths, you'll get through this.
Well, last night I was able to get our bedroom some what organized and Today our living room looks closer to a living room or at least something you can walk through for the most part. Having a cable again is sort of nice again with the exception I still can't really find anything to watch. Today I've got HGTV on. SS has been enjoying it though switching between the Science channel and Discovery.
It's crazy, right? Not just me? Good. I might have to start looking in Big Rapids or Kalamazoo. I do NOT want to drive an hour to work. It's making me sad.
Deeder- well I'm glad you have cable (maybe), boo to not having space. Can you guys get a storage unit?
HM-glad the girls played nicely.
TW: I'm sure your brother understands. I sure do.
Wendy- thanks for the thoughts and prayers.
