So, my cousin that was in my wedding is now a freshman in college. I want to send her a care package, but I was a freshman like 10 years ago and totally forget what I liked then.
I'm thinking some food gift cards, snacks, and fun pens. What else did you guys like/think would be fun to send?

Re: College Care Package?
Things that will remind her of home...when I was in school 2000 miles from home my mom sent me one of the art projects my homeschooling sister had made for school...(she was in grade 4 at the time) and thats what I remember the most.
Other things that made me so happy was tea (only if your cousin actually drinks tea) and walmart gift cards (so I could choose if I wanted to get something fun, or if we had run out of necessities like tp or toothpaste).
Candy was always exciting too.

Love the decoration ideas. Also--school supplies. As silly as that sounds, she is going to be realizing she is going to need computer paper, pens, ink (especially ink) and she is going to run out. Send her a few office necessities and she'll love you forever.
Also--gift cards. Look at what might be accessible off campus. I would recommend restaurants so she can get a break from campus food as well as clothing shops now that the weather is getting colder.
I agree with all of the above. A gift card to almost anywhere - grocery store, Walmart/Target, clothing store, restaurant/fast food, somewhere to get her oil changed if she has a car. Basically anything that can safe her money!
If it's feasible to send apples/oranges - in college the school would coordinate care packages around exam time and my Mom always bought one that had apples and oranges in it. The fresh fruit was a HUGE hit!
