A day late. I'm trying to get back into the mindset of meal planning. I think this week is a success...if I follow through
Monday: Grilled chicken with brown rice
Tuesday: WW Chicken parm with pasta and salad
Wednesday: Chicken marsala with veggies over egg noodles
Thursday: Ham and quinoa mac and cheese
Friday: homemade pizza or stromboli
Saturday: Out during the day so probably leftovers
Sunday: I really think I want attempt a pot roast in the crock pot for the first time.
Re: What's cooking?
I haven't and I'm dying to! I'm debating on cooking the quinoa ahead of time but I don't think I will because I always try to follow the exact recipe the first time. I'll let you know how it is on Friday!
I actually want to have it earlier in the week but it's a heartier side dish so I'm waiting until weigh in day, since I weigh in the morning!
Ugh! I so need to get back into meal planning once I am done my summer gig and now that my nausea seems to finally have subsided to the point I can eat more normal things again. Although there are still a lot of things that seem totally gross to me right now.
Sunday- I ate left over baked ziti and DH had Taco Bell. Real healthy, I know.
Monday/Tuesday- I have to work at night, so I'll eat whatever looks appetizing to me there.
Wednesday- Is our 3 year wedding anniversary, so I am hoping to finally venture to a restaurant. I may try to convince DH to take me to the Cheesecake Factory.
Rest of the week- ??
Well since Reality smacked me in the face yesterday with back to work full time, homework, CCD, two hockey games and a parade practice all in one day, its safe to say I am back to schedules and meal planning NEXT week since I didn't this week and now Im scrambling what to cook every night.
Sunday- I cooked an awesome dinner for DH's birthday/our anniversary and I want to AW it somewhere. Being that our trip to Disney is in two weeks, I made all dishes inspired by dishes from different places in DW (yes we are that Disney crazed), I found all the recipes from allears.net and he loved it! Dinner was: mustard pork tenderloin from California Grill, mushroom risotto from La Cellier in Canada, garlic beans from Liberty Tavern in MK, Mickey shaped mac n cheese from Cape May Cafe at Beach Club, dessert was vanilla bread pudding from The Land in Epcot and Ghiardelli's choc chip cookies from Downtown Disney. Along with a banana cake with brown sugar icing I found on pinterest. great recipe and I am proud to say my cake looked just like the picture

Monday- luckily had some gravy in the freezer so we shoved meatballs and spaghetti down our throats in between the craziness
Tuesday- homemade cheeseburgers, salad, baked potatoes
Wednesday- salmon?
Thurs-Sat- ????
Jonathan Dean 4.5.08
Anna Capri 5.4.11
Wed: Pork Tenderloin, sweet potatoes, and brussel sprouts
Thurs: Chicken Fajitas
If we don't go out of town for the weekend, we will have salmon or halibut. I also have Quinoa and Kale I need to figure out what to do with - any ideas?
