Bachelor Pad *spoilers*

Can we please talk about the best Bachelor Pad ever!?! I gave Nick a standing ovation in my living room. Did I feel bad for Rachel, eh, not really. I felt bad that she got played by Michael, but that's about it. It was about time someone upset the apple cart like that. The montage of the contestants talking crap on him at the end was cracking me up!

Also, Kalon with the line of the night "I don't think any of you understand what 'deserves' means." (or close to that) Why didn't Nick deserve the money? Because he wasn't part of an alliance? He played the players and they were upset about it.

  • Nick played them brilliantly!!! He was totally under the radar the entire time, I actually forgot about him most of the time.  I didn't feel that bad for Rachel seeing how she didn't want to be paired up with him in the first place plus her pining for Michael just got old quickly!  Nick won the game on his own by not joining in the alliance(s) and staying out of the drama.

Bravo Nick - game well played!!

  • That was definitely the most rational thing Kalon has ever said I think! Too bad it seems that he's still not 100% reformed (at least according to Erica).

I get Nick's logic, and he's right... just because he wasn't in the alliance or didn't create drama doesn't mean he didn't play a good game. And I understand his points about her heart not being in it all of the time. Yet I still don't think I could live with myself if I was the sole reason why another person didn't win their portion of the prize. Especially knowing that she was already down on her luck. Whether they ended up in the finals by chance, his strategy, her friendships, whatever... people voted for them to win the money as a couple and so her partnership definitely did factor into him getting to the final two. If he'd been up with Jamie, I garantuee he wouldn't have had a shot. As Micheal said, $125,000 is still a good bit of money and it seems selfish to take that away from her. I would just feel guilty, and he showed not even a little remorse.

  • First of all, I totally thought the Blakely/Tony news was going to be that she was pregnant.  we'll see how that whole thing goes for them!!

I agree and disagree with what Nick did.  I certainly applaud it for being good TV and finally shaking things up!!  I completely understand what he was saying, about not feeling like she contributed anything, she didn't even want to be there, etc....but at the same time....it's pretty cruel!!  Oh well, it made for good TV!!

  • I don't think that Nick would have been one of the final 2 if it wasn't for Rachel so I thought is was kind of a crappy thing to do to her.

Tony's proposal was really long and rambling and from the look on her face I think she thought he was ending it for a bit.
