Birthdays
My birthday is next week and for all holidays H and I give the other a small list of things we would like, while we like the element of surprise we like getting each other something we know the other will actually like.
Anyways... I have no idea what I want for my birthday...

my bday was august 27th and i haven't bought a new watch for about 13 years, so i asked hubby for a cool new watch!

My birthday isn't until July so I'm not quite thinking anything yet. Normally I ask for gift cards or money. I also agree with spa days or mani pedis. This year I asked for a new phone since mine was pretty much a goner.
Some things I'd probably ask for are:
Workout clothes (he'd probably get me a cute Under Armour outfit and maybe a GC for more stuff)
Pandora bead for my bracelet
Spa Day
Coach Purse
Missing Our July Sparkler

My birthday is next week, too. (9/20). This year, I told DH not to get me anything. I'm not working now, I'm in school FT and I would like to watch the money a bit. And, honestly there is nothing I currently want. But, he is taking the day off of work on Friday 9/21 (and I have no classes) and we'll just spend the day together and do fun things. It was his idea, and I'm excited.
This...we agreed before we got married that birthdays and anniversarys are about the time spent together and not about stuff. (Christmas can be about stuff! haha). So if anything I would ask for tickets to a show we can go to together, or a dinner out, or a weekend getaway etc. We don't have oodles of money and would rather spend it making memories then getting stuff. (Living social is a good source of coupons for 'things to do')

Well my birthday is 5 months away, so I haven't given it a lot of thought...but I've been thinking of getting H an underwater digital camera for his birthday. It'd be cool for beach trips, and way safer to take out on the water (kayaking, etc.)
Kind of a random suggestion, though. What I really need are some new clothes, but H obviously can't buy them for me.
