Sorry for asking you on here but the facespace is blocked at my work and I don't feel like typing this all out on my phone.
Since you are the resident biker babe, do you have any good sites that would have recommendations/reviews for bike trailers? There are a ton on CL which are really cheap and in really great condition. I assume because most people probably don't use them that many times before the kids outgrow them. Anyhoo, any ideas? Thanks!

Re: Yo Letranger!
Chariot and burley are the best. They are pricey as hell. Sometimes I see lower end burleys for pretty cheap on Craigslist too.
If you are just using it on occasion I hear instep is good.
Mzcovvceveve has been searching for one for her son she might have some insight for you too.
Overall I have yet to find a good kid review site of all types of seats/trailers. Thu always seem not fully truthful since they are supplied by a company.
Thanks! I was actually on Burley's website this morning looking at the Encore and then everything became too overwhelming.
We won't be using it every day but we'll be using it occasionally around here but mainly for trips through the PA Grand Canyon. DH just bought a hunting cabin (but it's more like a house, thank God for me and the kids lol) and we'll be going up a lot. I'm not sure if I want to get something used on CL or buy new just yet. I'm thinking CL, though, because like I said above, many are in really great condition. Thanks for the input!
Lol it's all about what you are comfortable with. I don't really love trailers visibility in the city. But my big thought would be that if your on bumpy trails get a nicer one with suspension.
Mzovoce- I hear you... I think we're going with a double because we'll probably breed again in the near future and then I can put both kids in there.
Letranger- (dude, it's so weird calling you that. I keep thinking, "that's not your name!!") I agree with you on the city viability. We'll be using it more on paved trails and I don't ever intend to use it in the street. That would freak me out too much with cars not being able to see it. I really like your seat and probably one of my earliest memories was the seat my mom had for me on her bike when I was little. It wasn't as cool as Milo's but I still remember going for rides with my mom and dad. Last night I bought D a helmet and I can't wait for it to come in to see what it looks like. Fingers crossed it fits!
Ha. I remember riding on my mom's bike too.
My favorite part about having m in a seat is talking to him and pointing stuff out. So that's why I'm meh about trailers. Also lugging a 40 poun trailer and two 30 pound skids up a hill sounds nightmare to me. I'm lazy.
Haha same! I think most of the time we'd be riding, DH would be with me and he already said that he'd have no problems being the one to pull her. I like the idea of being able to point things out, too. M always looks like he has so much fun and he has the best helmet! I think in the end, the trailer is best for what we need.
It's amazing how much llittle kid weight slows you on a bike. Like p rode m around on vacation except the night we went out on a date. The whole time he was like you need to slow down without the kid p was speeding ahead of me.
Over thinking it is my problem, too. I was thinking single for now but then I was like, "what if we want to put our dog (a pug) in there with her for the ride?" Then I was like, "OMG you are an idiot. You know we'll never take the dog with us and put it in that thing with the baby!" haha I'm sure you are probably good with a single. Keep an eye out on CL because there are a few really nice ones on there with good prices.
