s/o China - Stemware and Silverware/Flatware
So I happen to believe everything tastes better in a Ball canning jar or Waterford. If this house is ever done, I want to get Waterford Stemware and, in my world of make-believe, proper silver flatware place settings.
Did you register for stemware? Brand? Pattern? Use?
What about Silverware/Flatware? Pattern? Use?
sometimes all you really need in life is a pink wig.
Re: s/o China - Stemware and Silverware/Flatware
We did not register for "fancy" stemware that would go with china. We did register for wine glasses that were Lenox Tuscany series. I want to say they're around $45 for a set of 4. So fancier than the cheap ones you can get, but still not so bad that I'd be afraid to use them for friends for fear of breakage. We don't drink wine, but we use them for company.
We registered for a set of flatware (they are not silver, believe they are stainless steel). I think the set including the storage box was around $250? No clue what brand they are. We use them for holidays or large gatherings. I do not use them every day though.
We have the same set!!!
We registered for wine glasses, and recieved them. We don't drink wine, but when friends come over for dinner, they drink out of them, so they at least get use! We use our pint glasses as our everyday glassware though.
I just spit out my drink! I LOVE it!
We have formal Stemware. 6 of 3 different types of Wine glasses. Never completed the set.
Flatware we received 2 sets of Silver. one more fancier then the other, so we use the less fancy silver for everyday. The other set is in attic.
We have FDNY pint glasses, we get a new one a month for each function... I rotate (break) them every so often. Also we have a "set" of Westchester Broadway glasses too. Also I feel all that is in my dishwasher is sippy cups and bottles.!
I wish i had a dishwasher!
ME TOO!
Oh wait, I do...it is MEEEEEEEEEE
