Free-for-all Friday and weekend plans
Re: Free-for-all Friday and weekend plans
I now am afraid of checking news outlets. I hate hearing only bad news, and the last few days the news just keeps getting worse and worse. And I really want politicians to stop attacking each other and start focusing on what needs to be done to keep Americans safe, both here and abroad.
I think I'm going to try giving up Facebook until November. I'm sick of the partisan politics posts. I have started blocking so many people (for either extremely liberal or extremely conservative viewpoints) in my friends list from appearing in my news feed. This has left me with about 4 new stories per day...
Weekend plans: Try not to fall apart is the name of the game. I will claim victory if everyone survives, I finish 2 loads of laundry, and have done the grocery shopping come Monday morning.
I have no desire to work today.
I'm sick of being a lawyer most days.
I gained too much weight back the last 3 weeks. It sucks and I have no one to blame but myself.
Weekend plans:
Tonight - pizza and movie, Lil Journal Project catch up.
Tomorrow & Sunday - depending on weather and orchard confirmation, possibly apple picking, maybe a hike, and if the bees allow some fun driveway time with Ben's new scooter and maddy's HMD power wheels car. Cleaning the house. etc. etc. etc. In other words, nothing major.

My blog: Dodging Acorns
I hope I can get one more year out if my DS wearing his Welker jersey! I agree that those teeny jerseys are adorable!
My DD named her Baby Alive doll (or baby-pees-a-lot, as I call it, despite the fact that we don't actually give her water to drink...) "Boo" like from Monsters Inc.
Friday: DD had her "beach party" at preschool today, so we are probably having seafood to keep in theme for the day
Saturday: might go out to dinner with the kids, but otherwise no real plans... Housework? Fun, huh?
Sunday: church, then hopefully watching the Pats game at our friends' house. Yay for football season and getting to see these friends more regularly!
