The cooler weather last weekend has inspired me to start looking around. I'm browsing DSW right now, has anyone had any luck in the boot department yet?

I "think" I have finally found black riding boots. I am now waiting for Lands End to have a coupon since I cashed in my AmEx & PNC rewards for gift certificates.

Amber, look into Wide Calve boots. A lot of designers make them now and some websites will even let you search that way.

i just bought these Frye's in black (from Macy's).
I love Frye Melissa Buttons but they do not like me! I hae tried them 4 times and no go. It makes me sad! They had the most amazing cordovan ones last year and I couldn't even get them on.
I really want the Jane, but they only have 6 and 11 online. May have to stop at Macy's tonight. I have been drooling over them for 3 years.

That is how I feel about Toms. I think they are so cute but they don't fit me correctly. Did you check Nordstroms for the Jane? they will take Macy's coupon if you contact Nordstroms.com via chat.
I have a distressed brown Melissa Button that I beat the hell out of every winter but they still look like brand new. well worth the investment!
If I had the money, I'd love to have these in the burnt red. Maybe next year when I'm not feeling so house poor

I have Paige Tall in grey and LOVE them. I adore Fryes. I really need black boots, so I am hoping the LE ones work. Plus they zipper, which I love. My favorite boots are a pair of Uggs I got 5 years ago and they still look great even wearing the crap out them every year.
I just bought these. I was hoping to find something cheaper, but I wanted a pair of riding boots for my NYC trip the first weekend in October and I had DSW coupons so I went for it.
So much this. I need a boot fund.
