I survived the week

First week back after a 2 week vacation was ROUGH. We are so lucky we got to go on that trip, but man the readjustment was NOT easy. Add to it J working late most nights and the post-daycare meltdowns being far worse than normal b/c of the kids' readjustment, and I'm BEAT.

I have a Blue Moon, plans to make a pizza margarita, some yummy cheese to snack on and The Hunger Games to watch tonight. TGIFF.

Re: I survived the week

  • Cheers! I am debating whether or not I want to walk downstairs and get myself a hard cider... But, then I'd need to move... And have the cat get off my lap, when he's providing some much appreciated heat to help somewhat soothe my cramps. And it probably wouldn't make my head feel any better, although I might sleep better? I don't know. Somehow not seeming worth it.

I hope that after a weekend of hopefully having some downtime, your kids will be back into their normal routine and meltdowns will be few and far between. J doesn't have to travel again soon, does he? I know that late nights doesn't exactly help, but at least he's not timezones away, right?
