My best friend from childhood is visiting from London for the new year. She's about 15 weeks pregnant, I wasn't going to be able to see her, but her grandmother passed away this morning so I will go to the funeral. I would like to get her something just as an acknowledgement of the pregnancy. Thoughts? I was thinking tea, but I mean really, she lives in London and I'm going to give her tea? Any other thoughts?

Re: Put on your thinking cap
Im reading this as if she's coming to the states for her gmoms funeral soon, like when shes 15/16 weeks pregnant, so forgive me if Ive mis read and the resulting post makes no sense.......
I dont know if its in your budget, but a prenatal massage or even a foot massage would be great. If you set her up with one here in the states Im sure she'd appreciate the time to destress after the emotions of the funeral and the surely uncomfortable plane ride across the pond...or you could set her up with one in London all the same, but of course, it will be even more expensive there!
Something less expensive---great lotion for an itchy belly, a pandora charm if she has a bracelet like that? Maybe do a search on Etsy/pinterest for unique ideas.
New Year = Rosh Hashanah
I should just delete and start over.
My friend is visiting for R.H. from London, she is 15 weeks pregnant and Jewish, so I don't want to get the baby anything since that is bad luck. Her grandmother passed away a few hours after she landed so we will end up seeing one another at the funeral. I would like to get her something that is for her to say "happy pregnancy". I didn't use any belly creams or anything like that, so if you recommend that please rec a brand. Anything else that might be sorta nice? She's only staying the week and is traveling all over the mid-Atlantic.
