OK....another anniversary post. What are you getting your guy?
I know the first year is paper, but I don't think we're following that. I can think of lots of practical gifts, but I'm having trouble thinking of romantic stuff. What are you doing?
Re: Anniverary presents
TTC since June 2012
I got him (but well both be able to enjoy it) a recreation of our wedding night sky from Indigo Nights. Sorry no link I'm on my phone. It's been sitting wrapped for months now.
Time peices or clocks is the modern one year gift.
Im no help on the creative / romantic end. Sorry.
We're not exchanging gifts since we're taking a vacation. We're just giving each other cards and going out for a nice meal that evening.
uhhhhhh.....nothing?
We've been going back and forth about doing gifts; mainly because money is tight, and with us going to Seattle at the end of October, there isn't much extra to spend.
I won't be surprised if Vhati gets me something, but it will make me feel bad because I can't afford to get him anything.
I posted this in the other anniversary area, still looking for ideas to finish my present:
I started working on an anniversary gift for hubby of a thing I saw on Pinterest. I made an envelope book and I'm trying to stuff each of the 12 envelopes with pre-paid dates. However, we may be moving across the country in a few months sooo... without really knowing our future situation, I'm trying to come up with ideas we can do at home.
Any ideas for dates at home or that can be done anywhere? We're not doing gifts because we're going on vacation.
Kshalberg....even though it maybe wouldn't be "pre-paid" could you do coupons to be "at home tourists" and go do something touristy as a date? Then you could do it where you are now or across the country!
H has two video games coming out in November a week apart so I said one would be his anniversary present and one would be Christmas. DONE. :P
We went to the St Pete area for our honeymoon. Now we've moved less than an hour from there so we're going back to the same spot for one night as an "anniversary trip". I told H he could take me out for a fancy dinner for my present.
