Prayers Please
I know it's been a good while since I've posted, but I've always turned to you ladies, so please, just once more.
After a long week of emotional trauma and stress after my Uncle passing, H and I went on a mini vacation this weekend. Flew up to Georgia so no stressful drives. Only 14 hours after reaching the cabin, H's Aunt calls. Pop (DH's grandpa) had a major stroke. Before we could get home this afternoon he was moved into Hospice care and may not see it through the week. This may sound selfish, but we had to take a vacation because if the extreme exhaustion and emotional stress; not sure H or I can handle this right now. Why now?
We saw Pop today. He's not there at all. The hand squeezing we know to be involuntary muscle spasms, but it helps to think he's responding to us.
Please, DH and I just need some prayers for strength is anything at this time.

I'm so sorry. You and DH just need to fall back on each other to carry one another through these tough times.
It was never something I thought about before, but the time for marriage and weddings also seems to carry with it a cycle of death and loss. Both DH and I, and also friends have had to go through loss and it's very sad to lose a generation.
