Hello all, my husband and I just moved to Grove City and was wondering if there was anybody out there who could give us some ideas of fall activities and things we shouldn't miss out on doing up this way. Thank you
Re: Grove City, PA
I'm still somewhat new to the Northern Butler Area, but I know there are a few fall festivals in either Harmony/Zelienople (about 35 miles South from Grove City).
The Iron Bridge & Rachel's Roadhouse in Mercer also does events but I can't find the email.
Heading North, Conneaut Park has a pumpkin fest sometime in October too.
Coolsprings Corn Maze is pretty cool! I also know that Spring Valley Golf course is starting a haunted corn maze this year.
I'm excited to not be the only one on this board in Mercer County!!!
I graduated from Grove City College!
When I was there the farm market on 208 when you were headed in to GC from the Outlets/79 offered some fun fall activities. Nothing you could make a whole day of, but they did do Hayrides and pumpkin patch stuff.
McConnell's Mills is doing a fall festival on the last week in September.
Franklin PA had a great Apple Fest a while back. (My sis student taught in Franklin when were were students at GCC.)
Welcome. Happy fall!
Apple Fest is the first weekend of October. It's always a good time and in my opinion worth the drive.
We are going Sunday!
