Baby shower locations in GR
Hello! I am originally from GR but have lived out of state for the past 10 years. I am planning a babyshower for February 2013 and was hoping you all might have suggestions on a unique venue. The last baby shower I planned in GR was 3 years ago at a bed and breakfast and that was perfect; there was plenty of space, we could bring in all our own food and drinks, and it wasn't a restaurant setting. This babyshower is for the sister of the first, so we can't have them at the same b&b

I've contacted the Lafayette House and the Logan at Leonard House, to no avail. Any ideas for a neat, unique (non-restaurant) location? Thanks in advance!
Re: Baby shower locations in GR
Do you have any GVSU alumni in your group of friends. They have a nice smaller room there, but you would have to use their catering
I really don't know anything about this place other than someone stayed there the night of their wedding and said it was nice. http://www.prairieside.com/about-us/house-tour
i also came across this

Also, the Salvation Army Kroc Center has gorgeous facilities. I think you can bring in your own food, but am not 100% certain. http://grkroccenter.org/
The Prince Conference Center at Calvin is nice, but you would need to use their own caterer.
This may sound strange, but check wit h this hotel. http://www.countryinns.com/grand-rapids-hotel-mi-49546/migreast
They have a nice breakfast/lobby area, that I believe can be shut off. They may rent that out.
Check out www.experiencegr.com for some more ideas.
Was your original at Peaches B&B? http://www.peaches-inn.com/cgi-bin/go.pl?session=50a2erpzrciibfdcllrkctw6d26264t2&s=site&&p=75
