Mine was great. I am getting used to H being home...love it! Friday night we went out with one of our couple friends. We went to the fair Saturday and ate, H worked on some stuff in his shop Sunday and we lazed around. Overall, not productive at all and I probably gained 3 pounds. It was worth it...I LOVE fair food!
Re: How was your weekend?
Well, we were suppose to be moving this past weekend but that fell through, thanks to the in-laws (that stories a whole other post).
Saturday we went to Cushing-had lunch, browsed around a really neat gently used furniture/antique mall (plan to go back and purchase a couple of things soon if they still have them), went and seen H's step brother and did some grocery shopping.
Sunday I did laundry, and we went to my parents. My sister and I made chicken fajitas and beef tacos for dinner with rice and beans.
That is the extent of my weekend. Hopefully this weekend will be moving weekend.
Saturday was pretty leisurely, and then we went to a fun wedding at the Cowboy and Heritage Museum that night. Even saw the quintessential drunk guy giving an incoherent speech at what was otherwise a very low-key party. No one even knew who he was!
Sunday, I got groceries, we got brunch, then I went to see The Possession with my sister. Kinda creepy, I'll admit. Had a lot of fun. Sunday night I had community band.
Saturday we lounged around and watched football all day. Then my mom, her husband, and his daughter came over to babysit for a few hours while we ran out to dinner and took a quick trip to the mall. I had my first margarita in almost a year. It was amazing. Sunday we went on our first walk and cleaned house.
The best thing about this weekend was that I pretty much had a different baby. The last three weeks I've had a baby that screamed non stop and never slept. Friday she was diagnosed with reflux and we switched to formula feeding because I suspected that I wasn't producing enough milk for her to ever be satisfied. Between being full and getting reflux medicine, I finally have a happy baby! And she sleeps!
Disney detoxing!!
And we went to the fair on Saturday. Surprisingly most of the nasty food didn't sound good. Although MIL and I split a cinnamon roll. Yum!
Yay happy baby!! We had undiagnosed reflux and also colic. I swear DS cried straight from week 3 to week 7. It was rough. I'm glad you caught it early!
Thank you!
Bless your heart!
It was an okay weekend. Could have been better, DEFINITELY could have been worse. Some of you all have been privy to the nitty gritty details.
In just a few weeks someone else's wedding will no longer be expected to be my entire life. I can't wait!!
TJ - Where are you taking stats? A lot of my sorority sisters took it at OCCC and did just fine. I took it at OU as a night class and did fine as well. The day close though was apparently brutal as people failed right and left which is why I avoided the day class like the plague. Are you taking it at the same place over and over again? If so, has the instructor changed at all?
Was this bachelorette party weekend?
