I got a side job
Last night as I was working at the hotel gift shop, the head manager (big man in charge) approached me. He wanted to know what I had a degree in. I told him education and literature. He asked me if this was my only job. I told him that I am substitute teaching and also teaching one class a week at the local community college. He then asked me if I am a good writer. I said yes, I am.
Then, he asked me if I would work for him on the side editing his papers. He explained that he is taking a master's class and his writing is not that great. I told him I would love to! He said I could set the price, but he was thinking $10 a page. I told him that sounds good but I would need to see how long it would take me and how much work would be needed with his papers.
He sent me the first one today and I'm super excited. I decided I will use this money to save up for the ski trip I want to take.

PS- Are the storms bad in your area? It's not bad here yet. I feel like a fool because I canceled my community college class. The students must think I really overreated.

They were predicting doom and gloom here complete with tornado warnings. Reality so far has been heavy showers.
They were the worst when I was leaving school from 2-3. There were some heavy rain points at like 4, but I don't think it turned out the way it was supposed to. I always like when people are extra cautious with weather, especially since I hate thunderstorms.
I didn't even think of adding it to my resume. Good idea.
