My DVR is now overrun with kids shows, and I'm down to watching Greys and Gossip Girl (sad, I know), Big Bang and Modern Family. I gave up on the Office last season.
I wanted to watch Revenge last year, but ended up not doing it. Would it be crazy for me to start now and try to to catch up on it via netflix, or am I too late?
Other shows I've liked: breaking bad, sons of anarchy, friday night lights, rescue me.
Re: I need TV ideas
I definitely think you could catch up on Revenge easily. I started watching it last season and my DVR just got overwhelmed.
I DVR: Bones/HIMYM/Masterpiece Mystery/Copper(BBC)/Walking Dead/NCIS
I am sure there were others, but we had to get a new cable box a couple months ago and I lost all of my pre-sets. But I totally forgot and missed the season premier of Bones on Monday
I have all of Revenge on my DVR but haven't watched any of it
I'm not sure if I ever will at this point.
I'm going to give "the mindy project" with Mindy Kalling from the Office a shot, just because I like her a lot. I also love "castle", which is on Mondays at 10pm; you wouldn't have to catch up on previous seasons to enjoy it.
Jake - 1.15.08
Liam - 5.17.11
Personally, I wouldn't start watching the current Revenge episodes until you've caught up on the old ones (if that's what you meant.) It's an awesome show though, so I'd definitely recommend it.
We love "The Mentalist." It's probably my absolute favorite show. We also watch "Criminal Minds", "The Big Bang Theory," "2 Broke Girls," and "Law & Order: SVU." Sometimes we watch "CSI: NY", "How I Met Your Mother," "Two and a Half Men" and "Person of Interest." We watch entirely too much TV.

Yep, the only suggestions I got are all reality
Definitely catch up on Castle. I think you and Steve would like it (Tim watches it with me every week and other than How I Met Your Mother, we don't agree on shows). You should start from season 1 though. They don't HAVE to go in order, but it will make more sense.
My DVR is a wasteland of bad reality TV for the most part. Lol!
Loved Revenge - I'd definitely catch up if you can
I watched Revolution on Monday & it wasn't bad. Better than I expected so we'll see. It does conflict with Hawaii 5-0 and hottie Alex O'Loughlin so we'll see what happens.
I'd check out some new ones - there's Lsat Resort with Andre' Braugher that looks good starting next Thurs at 8. ALthough the time will kill me b/c I can never watch anything that starts at 8.
Go On (Matthew Perry) is ok same as Animal Hospital, I heard New Normal was good. Modern Family always good for a laugh. I love the Good Wife too.
How time flies! Caileigh (9), Keira (6) & Eamon (3)
DH is kind of crazy about his TV shows so we DVR a LOT.
My favorites: Parenthood, Modern Family, Big Bang Theory, HIMYM, Grey's, 2 Broke Girls, The Office.
This year we started watching Go On, The New Normal and Revolution.
We spend way too much time in front of the TV. No wonder I get nothing done! Summer provides such a nice break from it.
I basically watch a lot of what you watch in the fall (Office, Grey's Mod Family). Most of my fav shows are on in the summer (True Blood, SYTYCD, Dance Moms, Project Runway, etc). If you like documentary style shows, I Survived is a good one. I've gotten behind on it, so I'm not sure if it's currently new or not but they tend to run repeats all of hte time.
If you want to catch up on shows via Netflix I highly recommend True Blood. Spartacus is a good series too.
