I'm Pregnant!!!! I'm still in a state of shock and it hasn't all settled in yet. I tested yesterday morning and thought I saw something faint but wasnt sure. Tested again last night and knew I saw a line but still didnt want to get my hopes up. Tested this morning with a digital and sure enough it said pregnant!
DH was in the bathroom with me and I think a feather could have knocked him over! I'll be calling my Dr. in a few minutes and figuring out what the heck I need to do next because I have no clue!
Re: It's Wednesday and....
Married the love of my life on 1-21-12. Our princess arrived on 5-28-13.
Awh, thanks so much! I have not had any symptoms but if I don't get AF by Saturday I am going to test then. I'm been thinking a lot about it and since I didn't get hired as a full time teacher, this really would be a good time to be pregnant. Yes it would be hard money-wise, but we'd make it work.

The sequence of events of me reading this post:
1. See post. Think to myself- I wonder if Am is pregnant?
2. Open posts, and read others.
3. Read the post. Read the "I'm pregnant."
4. Jaw drops in excitement.
5. 1 second later- fire alarm goes off....
Here is to hoping your pregnancy is anything but alarming!!!!!!
(I sound like a horrible greeting card, but you can't make this stuff up people!)
That's hilarious!! I was just thinking this afternoon that our board has been kind of slow this week. I was trying to think of something fun to post but Am's news is way better than anything I could have posted!!!
That is too funny!
Thanks ladies! I have a dr appointment scheduled for next Wednesday. I hope this week flys by! I just keep thinking holy cow I'm pregnant, I have a baby forming inside of me. I have slight cramps but I know its just the egg getting comfy cozy for the next 9 months.
Michelle- do you have any reccomendations on what books I should get? It feels totally wierd to not have clue about what I should or shouldn't be doing right now lol.
I know what you mean. My doctor gave me a book that their hospital put together with tons of information in it. Lots of pictures and charts. I'll have to look at the title. It might be available online. That's really the only book I have.
I've heard the What to Expect When You're Expecting freaks a bunch of women out with all the possible bad things that could happen. I've heard really good things about a book called The Mother of All Baby Books. I keep meaning to buy it, but I like the one my doctor gave me so much I haven't bought anything else.
I've done a fair amount of online reading, articles on theBump, Parenting.com, and I keep a list of questions to just ask my doctor every time I go in. As an avid reader, I'm actually surprised I haven't bought more books.
I have class tonight but DH looked at the title of the book for me. Below is a link to the book on Amazon. It's called A Miracle in the Making.
The description given is pretty accurate "A Miracle in the Making is a comprehensive guide to pregnancy for expectant mothers and fathers. It answers frequently asked, and not so frequently asked, questions spanning preconception to postpartum. A Miracle in the Making offers the most current and accurate information available and follows American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) guidelines in an easy to understand format."

I have been that crazy girl who has been testing since 8dpo. Even with my temps up I still didn't think it was gonig to happen this month! I figure its better to not expcect much than to expect alot and be let down.
Michelle- Thanks for the book info! It sounds like a good read, hopefully it will be available on my kindle so I dont have to wait for it to be shipped.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I am so excited for you!
OMG OMG YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
