Any ideas for a decent brunch spot in town? DH and I are staying at the Latham and he had a last minute work schedule change and will actually be able to hang out with me for brunch instead of taking the early train home.
I would love for it to be walkable but I am also considering hitting up Sabrina's in the Italian Market since it is our old hood.
Fun spots for late night drinks in town are appreciated too. We will be at a concert and then hop the BS subway back up to the hotel.
Re: brunch spots
There are all sorts of good brunch spots around.
We like Continental, DiBruno Brothers, Parc (fancier) or all out amazing (and pricey) at XIX.
There are tons of options though so hope you find somewhere you like. Have fun!!
No clue where Latham is but Sabrina's is a favorite of mine also Fitzwater Cafe which isn't too far from that area if you still want to visit the old stomping grounds.
Our newest place we go to is Cafe Lift, arond 13 and Spring Garden maybe?? they have different stuffed french toast every day, lemon ricotta pancakes that are simply amazing, and delicious cappucino

Called DH and he seriously doesn't care. Boo! I hate when he has no opinion. I am leaning toward Parc. Russett looks good but I don't think I can be responsible for bringing my own champagne or vodka to brunch after a night out.
The Latham is near Rittenhouse.
Our options are (based on open table):
Parc
The Mildred (just opened last week in S Philly- 8th and Catherine)
Dandelion
a.kitchen
Farmicia
Supper
Russett (BYOB at 15th and Spruce)
I love the brunch at Parc, especially when it's nice enough to sit outside and people watch. Sabrina's is also great, but it's BYOB, and you don't sound like your up for that after doing the town the night before. You could always grab a bottle of champagne on your way into the city, and leave it in the hotel until brunch the following morning.

Thanks ladies! I am going to review the menus again when I get home and see what looks best.
