Survivor: Philippines 9/19 Spoilers
Wow...What a great episode...I think this season may be pretty interesting. I really like the yellow team so far. I like Mike Skupin a lot and Lisa Welchel is pretty funny. She does not want anyone to know that she was on "The Facts of Life"...LOL. I guess in some way that is good so you are no judged right away. The same with Jeff Kent?, the one who is the MLB player. Hopefully his knee will not give him any troubles. Seems like everyone is getting injured right out of the box. Funny to see Mike cut himself on the machete, get his head scratched, etc. He better be careful or he will get evacuated again.
Zane was a strange character. He was funny but I don't think he was physically cut out for the challenges. He even mentioned he was not!! I am wondering who will find the hidden immunity idol first, maybe Jonathan? I don't think he realizes that the immunity idol is on the top of that box...LOL!!!
Anyone else have any thoughts?

The yellow team is also my favorite so far. Skupin seems like a good leader for the team, although he keeps hurting himself... I do feel like Lisa is isolating herself a bit too much and putting a bulls-eye on her back because of it. She needs to play the game a little more, imo.
The way that one girl was staring Jeff Kent down was hilarious. I wonder if he thinks anyone recognizes him.. and I hope that knee doesn't give him too much trouble. It didn't seem to slow him down in the challenge, which surprised me.
Russell is getting on my nerves! "I don't want to be the leader, but you do this, and you do that, etc, etc." I think the other team-mates have him pegged pretty well. Just pretend like he is the boss and let him have his moments and we'll all get along just fine. And then there's Zane... wow. I do kind of wish he was around a while longer to entertain everyone, but I think the group made a good choice to keep Russell around, no matter how annoying he is. He is a good asset to have. The blue team is a strong team, I think they have a shot at the challenges in the future if Russell can get off "leader mode."
Oh, and Johnathan was driving me crazy with the whole immunity idol thing! He is so obvious!
I think this season will be a good one
I haven't watched Survior in years but talked my H into it since Jeff Kent was on there. He kept telling me that he should of been on this season so he could call him out! H kept repeating over and over again that when Jeff played ball he was injury prone so it didnt suprise him when he was hurt first.
Russel..not good for TV, soo annoying. I like the yellow team so far although the red is pretty strong too.
I remember really liking Russell Swan on his original season too. This time, I can't wait for him to go home. He was really getting on my nerves a lot. I was torn between wanting him or Zane to go home.
Overall, I love the show, and am very much looking forward to this season. Not sure how I feel about no more Redemption Island though.
I thought I liked Russel in his first season but now seeing how he's acting, I'm hoping he either A. Didn't act like this last time or B. I didn't like him.
I'll be interested to see how it goes. I think by going with three tribes, it's going to get cutthroat quick because they'll have to merge sooner.
I'll have to say so far I like the season because it doesn't seem like there's another Colton..
