Favorite travel booking website?

Where is your go-to to book travel?

Re: Favorite travel booking website?

  • Wherever is cheapest.  For flights, I typically search via Kayak and then use whichever site comes up with the best price.  It seems like that's usually either the airline site itself or Orbitz, though sometimes Cheaptickets or Vayama has a better deal.

For hotels, I tend to stay at smaller places, in which case I book through the hotel directly.  Otherwise I'll use Hotwire's secret deals along with betterbidding, and occasionally I use Kayak to search for hotels.

  • Thanks.  I usually use Orbitz, but was wondering what else is out there.

  • I always check Bookit.com first.  I've booked 1 trip and 3 hotels with them so far, they usually have the best deals!

  • I love using VRBO.com to find super nice accomodations at great prices.  It works perfect for us because my FI has a 16 year old son and I have a 15 year old daughter so we always need three bedroom accomodations.  I have booked condos or houses in the city we plan to visit.
