Raves: OUR THANK YOU CARDS FINALLY CAME IN!!! We ordered them from the photog and they took FOREVER. I'm embarrassed that we haven't sent them out yet. I want to get them done this weekend and out by Monday! Also I took my car for a really good cleaning today, yay because my car is always really dirty!
Rants: It's an ugly rainy day today and DH is at a golf tournament so I wish the sun was shining for him!
Weekend plans: I'm alone for supper tonight. Going to have a few glasses of vino, work on the thank you cards right after dinner and then maybe watch a terrible soppy movie that DH wouldn't want to watch. Tomorrow is a friend's birthday party, Sunday finishing the TY cards with DH.

Raves: I get to see hubby tonight!! YAY!!! :-D Also, we ordered a bunch of stuff from BB&B with our gift cards and most of it came this week
Weekend Plans: We're flying out to Seattle tonight to spend the weekend with our friends at their place in Bellingham. I'm pretty excited because I haven't seen Serena in SOOOO long and she recently got engaged
Also, I've never been to Bellingham and the weather is supposed to be beautiful!

Rants: This week at work had been so draining...people have been leaving (quitting) since we're making some changes around this place, which is giving me lots of extra work to do.
Raves: It's finally friday....it's been a long week!
Weekend Plans: Babysitting our neighbors baby girl tomorrow morning, working tomorrow night (a wedding!) and then Sunday I have the Walk for Alzheimer's!

Nothing too big.. my one coworker is out today and Monday, which leaves me with extra work, so that's a bummer.. but I can't complain after taking my super awesome honeymoon! (And the line at Subway was super long today so I wasted most of my lunch half hour waiting line... FWP, I know!) haha I'm stretching here!
Raves:
Well, #1 it's Friday! But really, I'm stoked because our wedding album was delivered yesterday! I LOVE it. It came with our package, and I think our photog did a fabulous job. I haven't AW'd any wedding stuff, really, so maybe I'll post the link that she sent with the preview on it.
Weekend Plans:
So very excited to be volunteering at the Life is Good Festival this weekend. It's a two-day 'celebration of music and optimism' and this will be my second year. It's a fundraising event for the Life is Good Playmakers, which is an organization that helps kids overcome poverty, violence, and illness.
This year, Michael Franti & Spearhead and Dave Matthews are the big names, but Sara Bareilles is coming, Ryan Montbleu band is returning, among many others. It is a ridiculously good time, and full of 'good vibes.' I'm so excited!!!

Rant: It's been a LONG week! I'm exhausted and ready to start my weekend! I think I'm going to slip out of work a little early today...
Raves: H has tomorrow off and we haven't spent a Saturday together in a while!
Plans: Tonight we're going to a festival in a nearby town featuring local restaurants. I'm looking forward to it! Tomorrow H volunteered to participate in a parade so he's doing that in the morning, then I think we'll hang out for most of the afternoon, maybe grab a movie. Saturday night we're going to fundraiser and it's a prime rib dinner so I'm excited about that! Sunday is my usual housework, errands, and a little bit of laziness!
Plans: Going to the Big E again!... this time taking my parents who have never been. Tomorrow night we're going to dinner and a comedy show with BIL and his g/f.
Rants: TN hasn't been working for me at work this week
Raves: I got to leave work early today
Rants: I hate Fridays (it's my Thursday), and I am alone in the office all day. It's pretty lonely.
Raves: ummm....I finally picked paint colors for the livingroom/diningroom, and kitchen. Our current walls are this dingy, yellow-y color. Hopefully we can paint soon!
Weekend plans: work tomorrow. I have a boatload of homework to do (chem and bio, how fun). On Sunday I am meeting up with my friend who is doing out Rock the Dress shoot. So excited to do that in a few weeks!

Rants: my job is just in a scary place right now, I'm afraid they are out for blood and always anxious I'm about to get fired over little things.
Raves : I love my new car!
Weekend plans: work and hmwk yay lol
Rants: I'm totally exhausted and H has to go in to work for a little bit tomorrow and is taking me with him because it makes his lab partner work faster when the wife tags along. Otherwise he tries to "hang-out..." Thrilling. I'm taking a book.
Raves: It is Friday...thank god. Also I am ahead on ALL my grading! Who knew?! I am also very ahead in general with my planning. You all are complaining about homework. My kids have a paper due next week...they hate me this weekend.
Weekend Plans: Lab...and shopping and cleaning. We are decorating for Halloween, so that's exciting
