This sucks :-(
My H and I have recently moved into his parents' house so we could save some money for a year or so. We were expecting to move into the basement where we would have a closed off bedroom, living room, bathroom, and mini kitchen to the rest of the house. The basement is still under construction and we've been staying in the guest bedroom until it is ready (November maybe? Only the Good Lord knows when that will be...)
Not only has this taken a toll on our sex life, which REALLY bums me out since sex is so new to both of us, but we never get any time to ourselves and H is constantly being called away for errands and favors from his parents. I feel so lonely these days and I hate being at this house by myself, which is how I spend most days. Like the title of this post reads, This sucks :-(

Let me start with this I have been there and it does suck! A few months before H and I got engaged he was living with MIL. The year before she had gotten in her accident and he was her only caretaker. I lived with SIL in an apartment but she was always at BIL's and I was always at H's so we didn't see spending $700 a month to have an apartment we only stored stuff and showered in. When I moved in with H we had 1 open room which was the "office" bedroom and living room in 1. The bathroom was in with MIL and so was the kitchen.
She did the same thing your IL's are doing. She would call or text or come open the door and walk in to tell him she needed something. In 1 hour she would do it at least 3-4 times not to mention during sexy time. We got creative when we got to opportunity to go out we would take H's truck go find somewhere have sexy time go eat then go back home. We hated dealing with it BUT in the end we were able to save quite a bit and when we least expected it we had the chance to move out (which we took) and it was worth it.
I know it's super hard now but once you move out it makes things seem so easy and you actually have a better relationship with your in laws. Hang in there I know it's tough. Just be creative with alone time and once the basement is done get a lock!!
