Carolina Beach, NC
My husband and I are taking a short trip to Carolina Beach, NC. Any suggestion on what we should or shouldn't do? I am mainly strongly with things to do at night and I am also looking for somewhere to get a couples massage. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure to eat ice cream at Squigley's. Its the best ice cream in the world! You could also ride down to Fort Fisher (just a short trip) and drive out on their beach and fish or just relax, go to the muesum, go to the aquarium (it is a great state aquarium).

What time of year are you going? Carolina Beach (and it's neighboring beach, Kure) is a very relaxing place, especially off season. There isn't a ton to do there. If you are looking for nightlife, head into Wilmington - it's a very short drive. There are taxi services available.

Make sure you take a drive in Wilmington. I highly recommend eating at the Front Street Brewery one night. They have awesome causal food for great prices.
I also love Oceanic but that's on Wrightsville Beach so it's a bit of a drive (about 30 mins) but if you love seafood you should go. They have the best crab cakes ever!
