Highs? Our new family room furniture arrived and we love it. We also got a cool new 3-D tv. Saturday I had my girl friends over for a fun evening and yesterday my friend and I got our dogs together for a long walk and picnic.
Lows? I hate dealing with cable companies. We got a new tv this weekend so we had to have Comcast come out yesterday to install our new box. They were supposed to be there between 1 and 3 and didn't get there until 4:30. Poor DH was stuck home the whole time. Then when I go to watch the tv last night, I realized that none of the pay channels work and they couldn't get it to work over the phone so now we have to wait until someone can come out again.
Eat/make anything good? Main Ingredient yesterday and had some yummy party food Saturday night.
Read anything good? Still reading the 1st Harry Potter.
Watch anything good? We watched License to Drive at my 80's movie party. I forgot how good that movie is.
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments? I'm really excited about the bridesmaid dresses my friend picked out for us.
What are you looking forward to this week? My friend's engagement party.

I'd like to know who gets the first visit in these "windows." Every person I've ever talked to the repair person always gets there either towards the tale end or after the window closes. And its the same with all utilities. Very odd.

Highs? 3 trips to Home Depot, dozens of paint chips, and 9 test splotches on the wall in 3 different colors and we decided on paint for our living room! We also made a couple more decisions and are working out logistics for the start of our projects. So excited!!!!
Lows? DS has a cold which I may have caught. He's also got 4 teeth coming in at once and while he's never bothered too much by teething, this on top of a cold is kind of sucky.
Eat/make anything good? Nothing out of the ordinary.
Read anything good? No, but I purchased Gone Girl for my iPad. I haven't read a new book in years and never on my iPad so I hope I will actually read it!
Watch anything good? Some Renovation Realities on the DIY Network which we love and more Sons of Anarchy on Netflix.
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments? AW: DH is doing so well on his new exercise/meal plan thing - I'm really rpoud of him. FFC/Vent: But I need to get my butt in gear and stop snacking on candy. It is my weakness.
What are you looking forward to this week? Starting to get things packed up for the kitchen project.

Yeah, that is very true. On the other hand, our furniture actually came an hour early which was really better for us.

Highs? It was a great weekend. Spent a lot of time with DH, got a lot done around the house, ate some good food, etc
Lows? I made a Pumpkin Dump Cake last night that I'd been excited to try. DH thought it was amazing but I thought it was absolutely disgusting.
Eat/make anything good? We had a Mexican weekend! Nachos and Tequila Sunrises on Saturday, Huevos Rancheros for brunch yesterday, and Sangria with a burrito for me/Mexican Pizza for DH for dinner.
Read anything good? No
Watch anything good? We started Sons of Anarchy. We are enjoying it so far.
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments? ETA: I do have a vent. I got a subpoena at the end of August for a trial in October. I know nothing about this case. I do not know any of the three people involved. I've been trying to get out of it but they keep insisting that I have to know more than I think because the woman listed me as a witness knew my work address and work phone number. I keep insisting I was not at a Glen Burnie Apartment at 8am on that day but they don't believe me. I guess I'll have to show up and tell them I know nothing. It's so frustrating!!

Highs? Time with friends on Friday night, lots of family time Saturday and Sunday.
Lows? My emotions are still off-kilter and I had some "moments" thanks to that.
Eat/make anything good? A really simple quesadilla for dinner last night - leftover taco meat and cheese. It just hit the spot.
Read anything good? Nope.
Watch anything good? This week's Glee, an older episode of True Blood, lots of food-related shows on Cooking Channel and Food Network.
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments? AW: I have been in dire need of bras. My bras are all a year or more old, I wore them through pregnancy and boob-size-fluctuations, they were all stretched out and needed to be trashed. So yesterday I went to get fitted and was shocked to find out that I went down two band sizes. And my jeans are getting loose. I'm elated.
What are you looking forward to this week? I wasn't looking forward to the OB appointment I had today, but I found out that my wound is healing better than they anticipated, so that's probably going to end up being the highlight of my week.

Highs? I attended a benefit for the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center on Saturday with a coworker that I didn't know very well, but now I really like her - new friendship! I also bid on and won a HUGE basket of farm-fresh vegetables...just finished up my afternoon snack of raw veggies!
Lows? My husband was out of town, and while I enjoy being able to watch whatever I want on TV, I don't sleep as well when he's not there.
Eat/make anything good? I made a roasted veggie pasta with Old Bay butter sauce to use up some of those vegetables.
Read anything good? No reading this weekend
Watch anything good? I watched the pilot of Matthew Perry's new show "Go On." I'm not sure about it yet. Continuing on with "Army Wives," too, now I'm on season two.
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments? I have nothing exciting to say or venting to do. I just make a chai latte in my keurig, and I'm very excited to take the first sip.
What are you looking forward to this week? This weekend is the benefit show for CTA. I'm glad it's going to be over after this weekend!

Highs? Definitely going to Boston with my siblings. It was such a quick trip but we crammed a ton in and had so much fun! Plus, we sat on top of the Green Monster at Fenway which are really awesome seats. We did a pub crawl too through Boston...probably indulged a little too much!

Lows? Being exhausted

Eat/make anything good? Blueberry ale and pumpkin ale were my two favorite beers that I had. Had a street sausage with peppers/onions outside of the stadium that was tasty! Also had huge steamed crabs on Saturday when I got back in to town that were amazingly sweet and delicious!

Read anything good? No reading this weekend

Watch anything good? Didn't really watch tv this weekend other than the O's game Saturday night and the Ravens game last night (until I fell asleep!)

FFCs, vents, AWs, comments? Just feeling really blessed lately despite DH being in a bad spot between his health and his job but somehow I know things will work out

What are you looking forward to this week? The calendar is actually pretty clear this week...so I'm looking forward to that! Because October and November is one thing after another!

Lows? No real lows, although I would have liked more sleep.
Eat/make anything good? The food at our club picnic was yummy and we went to Wegmans to shop and I had delicious pumpkin roll.

Watch anything good? Covert Affairs was good last week.
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments? We heard at work when our approximate last day is. It helps to know, but it's hard to move forward when I still have to be there for a few months.
What are you looking forward to this week? Outdoor show this weekend - I hope it doesn't rain.

Highs? I went to see Carbon Leaf and O.A.R. in Greensboro and it was an amazing show!! We got to hang with both bands for a little bit since they were staying in our hotel. I also met some awesome people from Ohio!
Eat/make anything good? We had fried green tomatoes at a restaurant in Greensboro, and had some great Carolina BBQ!
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments? I can't even begin to tell you all how much I needed this weekend away and for it to have been so awesome is what I needed!!
What are you looking forward to this week? I have a lot to clean this week since I will be moving in the next month. I'm looking forward to watching the UMD game on Sat with some friends!

Lows? Being sick all weekend
Eat/make anything good? DH went fishing last weekend and brought some clams home and we tried our hand at steaming them (which smelled amazing) but the clams were too chewy and was a complete FAIL!
Read anything good? No
Watch anything good? No
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments? I'm sick of being sick and now both kids are sick as well. Nobody is sleeping in our house, but both DH and I have to work. My aunt is up helping/taking care of the kids during the day (A has a fever and C has a horrible cough). I just want us all to be well.
What are you looking forward to this week? I'm trying to schedule a massage for my aunt for all her help. We are heading to the O's game on Saturday. I just hope I feel better.
