Avon

Can anyone recommend any avon products?  I'm mostly interested in daily products that I would need to re-order on a daily basis.  Like foundation, moisturizer, etc.

One of the daycare teachers at the kids' school is a single mom and sells Avon on the side.  I'd like to help her out by ordering frequently, but I have a good stock of shower gel/lotions, etc.  I'm not attached to any of my makeup/face products, so if anyone can recommend something good I'd be willing to try it.

Re: Avon

  • not really what you are looking for, but i LOVE their Moisture Therapy hand lotion.  it's great. i've never been a huge fan of their make up but that's just me.

  • I can!  I've used a bunch of their products over the past year since I gave a half-a$$ed try at selling the stuff and I've liked nearly all of it.

Non-makeup items I like are the skin so soft shaving gel and bubble bath (for Jude, I get the sensitive skin one).

For makeup items, I like several of the mark products.  I like the Get a Tint tinted moisturizer, Conceal for Real concealer (for under eyes), and Good Riddance concealers (for blemishes).  Regular Avon makeup products I use and love are the Supershock mascara, Ultra Luxury brow liner, and Be Blushed cream blush stick.  In fact, these six products are my standard makeup routine - I put a dab of the cream blush on my lips as well and I'm out the door.

I'm not much of an eyeliner girl but I know their Glimmersticks are really popular.

Moisture therapy hand lotion is the best for dry winter hands.

  • I bought the entire line of foot care a few years ago.  I really liked it.

Also, there are cute kid items in there that would make great stocking stuffers or other small gifts.  I think we had Avon chapstick in our stocking every year when I was younger!

  • Ohh their footcare line is the best.

I do like the Holiday decorations.

Im going to get some hand lotion!

Thanks!  I was looking at the tinted moisturizer and concealer.  Any input on their cleansers or eye or day/night creams?

I have a ton of this. My grandma always throws a big tube of it in with my Christmas and Birthday gifts. I almost never use it, since I don't get super dry hands. And I've fell in love with bath and body works antibacterial lotion.

I got a sample of the Anew Rejuvenate cleanser and wasn't a big fan.  It was sort of minty and left my skin tingly.  But I usually use Cetaphil and prefer very basic, gentle cleansers.  The only skin care product I've been tempted to try (but haven't yet) is the Anew Clinical peel pads.

  • I use the Anew day/night creams and like them.  I am also a HUGE fan of Avon shoes.  Every pair I have purchased, with one exception, has been reasonably priced and comfortable.
  • They have really nice crease-free eye shadows, and I second the shoe purchases.
