Lancaster B & Bs and restaurant recs
We want to get my ILs a gift card/certificate to a B & B in the Lancaster area (near touristy areas/Amish country) as well a gift certificate to a nice restaurant in that same area. I wanted to get some ideas from you ladies. They are from the Annapolis area and so I want them to be able to experience everything Lancaster has to offer! Thanks for any ideas or suggestions!

Re: Lancaster B & Bs and restaurant recs
Sorry Liz!!!
Can I recommend Josephine's in Marietta for you?
Cameron Estate-lovely rooms and great food. Near Lancaster and Hershey
oh ok great thanks!! I have heard good things about Josephine's also!
Thank you for all of the great suggestions! I will have to look in to that!!!
We stayed here a couple of years ago for DH's birthday, and it was fantastic. On the edge of Lancaster County, but it's less than a mile from Stoudt's Brewery (tours, tasting & restaurant), near a handful of wineries and right down the road from a HUGE Sunday antique fair.
It's also not a far drive from Amish country.
FYI, we loved the Garnet room, for the whirlpool hot tub, private deck with swing chair and steam shower!!

It is a bummer about the Log Cabin. It was so romantic there.
I don't have any recs for B&B's but I do for restaurants. Gibralter is a VERY nice place. There is the Press Room, The Symposium, Fiorentino's. I'm sure I'll think of more as we eat out a lot.
