Weekend Highs?
Weekend Lows?
Eliza Mae - September 16th, 2014
Re: Manic Monday
Weekend Highs - Got our marriage license Friday, and had our last session before the wedding with the pastor. I had some really good wine Saturday too!
OH! And BBB is having a sale on dysons. If you buy a dyson before 3 Oct, you get a gift card for 20% of the original price. So I had 2 coupons, and got our dyson animal saving $120, also got $120 back so we got our shark mop for free (after the 20% coupon). SCORE!
Weekend Lows - just needing some downtime... I guess that's what the honeymoon is for!
Highs- BIL's team won their game, the BBQ on Saturday was great and Chase had a blast, football Sunday was nice and relaxing, and Chase was very well behaved all weekend.
Lows- DH's BFF's girlfriend (hostess of BBQ) was a little bitchy to some of our friends (including DH) after her work friends go there and she had few too many drinks.
My hip, knee and shoulder that I hurt in my accident last year really started acting up this past week and I have been in pain that has me hobbling around like a 90 year old. Nothing I am doing to relieve the pain is working and I cant get comfortable. Now Im at work and sitting in a chair all day so it makes the evenings impossible to get anything done.
I dont know what to do about it.
Highs: My entire weekend was a high
Quality times with friends, good wine, and I read an entire book yesterday. I've been in a reading funk so I'm happy to be getting back into it.
Lows: None
Weekend Highs -- Good wine Saturday, Celiac disease food festival Sunday, and more good wine AND DUCK SALAD afterwards. And then after I got home, I watched Doctor Who with the hubs, and then we finished watching the episode of Sherlock we started the other night.
Weekend Lows -- I wanted to take a nap on Saturday before I went to Philly for my cousin's bach party, and I couldn't. Oh, and my ceiling is falling apart. I guess that's a low. I think we are going to try to patch it with dry wall (my ceiling is plaster) but I'm kind of terrified to do this kind of thing DIY.
Highs: my weekend rocked! I loved seeing family and friends and celebrating a marriage. and then we came home to MIL's suprise 60th birthday party where there was food/alcohol so I didn't have to cook dinner
low: seeing how badly my grandmother is doing. I love her and hate seeing her getting older
The Rowdy Roberts
I'm sorry :-( How old is she?
Thats a pretty awesome deal!
I'm assuming you have done physical therapy already? Did they give you any advice or did they tell you if it will ever go away?
she's 84. she's just starting to forget things and isn't really talking much anymore, but you can tell she recognizes you. she got the biggest smile on her face when she saw me:)
The Rowdy Roberts
I did 12 weeks/3 times a week of physical therapy right after the accident. I havent had pain since I finished up. Now it just started up last week. I thought maybe the weather changing was bothering it, but i didnt feel like this last fall, so I dont know whats up. I dont want to go back to the doctor about it because he will want to start the whole process over again involving the insurence company who covered everything. My attorney just sent a letter of demand for damages and we are so close this all being overwith that I dont want to screw things up by compaining now.
Mrs.Skiz - do you think a chiropractor could help? maybe something is out of alinement.
Brittany - what did you read?! I'm still stuck on Dragonfly in Amber...
Gina -
sucks about the ceiling
Aleks - since you're not pumping can you go on BC again until you want to have another kid?
Andrea - *hugs* isn't hard seeing loved ones age.
I used to go every 2 weeks then after the accident I started 2-3 times a week, then scaled back to once a month. I stopped going over the summer. I actually just saw him Thursday because the pain was so bad. My back and shoulder is better but my hip and knee arent. He said to come back before my next appointment if its not any better.
I think I will have to start looking into it. I never did before because I thought I would be ready sooner but I'm not.
Highs - We got a lot done yesterday around the house.
Lows - I slept literally ALL DAY on Saturday and missed out on something I was really looking forward to
This pregnancy is killing me with the fatigue. That Eagles game yesterday was certainly a low too...
Highs: Celebrating my birthday with my family. I loved it being on Saturday!! DH made me breakfast and gave me some gifts. Then M took a 2 1/2 hour nap. I got 2 months of her scrapbook done. Then we went to dinner at my parents house. Sunday we hung out. DH went to the grocery store and left us home. :-)
Lows: my sister's exboyfriend was being a d**k so she was upset. Makes me wanna throat punch him
Well earlier in the week I finally finished Winter Garden which was the first book I've read since June, then I listened to a book called Carrier of the Mark which was so like Twilight it should be illegal. Sunday I read the first book in the Vampire Academy series. I'm waiting on a phone call at 6 and after that I have a date with a bottle of wine, the bath tub and the second book in the series.
Highs: Where to begin?! This was a superb weekend! I had a truly fantastic day at work on Friday, which was a great start. Then I spent lots of quality time with friends and H. I also found a dress AND shoes to wear to the wedding we're going to next month.
Low: Jack (our cat) ate over a yard of ribbon on Wednesday night (unbeknownst to me) and I had quite an interesting situation to deal with on Saturday morning. I felt so badly for him!
Was he pooping ribbon?! PLEASE tell me it was rainbow ribbon!
Yes, but it was blue. And he only managed to get some of it out on his own...
