My three sons!
I was playing the "use what we have in hte freezer" game when I made my list. so we had:
S-Takeout
M-Spaghetti with homemade meat sauce (that I make in bulk and freeze)
T-Porkchops, macncheese
W-chicken and noodles and broccoli
T-italian sausage sandwiches and french fries.
sunday- ate at in laws
monday- Dh away-- DD and I ate leftovers
tuesday- fish sticks
wednesday- chicken enchildas
thursday- venison meatloaf-- we are also trying to use up last years to make room for this years. WAHOO. :P
friday- probably order out.
Clare-- I posted a crock pot potato soup the other week to Sami's post for recipes. that would be a yummy one.
I am feeling smug about thus today since dinner is in the crockpot and it is a big enough roast to provide lunches for me next week!
I actually made a list this week using a number of recipes and a proper shopping list, something that I haven?t been great about for the past month or so. I think the ability to pull up my cool weather recipes has helped.
Monday: Tortellini, corn and applesauce (with leftover quesadilla)
Tuesday: Breaded Chicken, Zucchini and Rice Skillet, Raspberries
Wednesday: Sweet and Savory Crockpot Roast, Noodles, Sweet potato fries, apples
Thursday: Chicken Tortilla Soup, Cheesy bread, snap peas, oranges
Friday: Chili, Mac?n?Cheese, Carrots, grapes
Saturday: Wedding?
Sunday: Fish Sticks, Vegetable-Chick Pea soup, corn, apples
I'll have to check this out - I have quite a few potatoes left from a 10-lb bag I bought last week! thank you!
