A central PA recommendation?
DH and I are planning to -meet in the middle- this weekend. Does anyone have any recommendations for a central PA town to check out? It looks like the Bedford and Somerset area would be the middle point between Philly and where he is in Ohio.

Where is Falling Water?
Edit: In WV? No - 3.5 hour drive for me, close to 6 hours for him.
The town is actually not falling water. Oops. Mill
Run. http://www.fallingwater.org/
Omni Bedford Springs Resort is a gorgeous old spa, golf course type historic place with a spring water pool so that would be a great place to stay. The town around it is cute but pretty lame at about 3 blocks of stores/restaurants. They have a nice fall festival every year that MIGHT be this weekend but you'd have to do some internet sleuthing to verify the dates.
Nemicolin Woodlands is outside of Pgh and a great resort/spa place as well but the town its in is nothing special.
Frank Lloyd Wright! That I would like to see. I'll look into it.
I did find that place. It looks lovely but crazy expensive so not for this trip.
My ex who was from Cleveland but went to school in Philly used to go to Seven Springs or something like that skiing with his family every year. Not sure the distance between Philly and Ohio though.
