Hotel RECs in LA and San Diego...
I will be traveling with my husband in two weeks to So. Cal and we are in need of hotels in LA and San Diego. We plan to stay two nights in LA and then travel down to San Diego. Would even be up for staying half way in between on the way down. Any suggestions welcome. Thank you!

Hello, I live in Southern Cali so I know of some good spots for you.
San Diego: Sophia Hotel, Hardrock Hotel and Hilton Bayfront. All of these hotels are in the heart of the Gaslamp district with lots or shops and resaurants. Also, about a ten minute drive to "Little Italy", & I highly recommnd eating at Filippi's!
LA: Roosevelt Hotel, Renaissance Hotel, Standard Hotel.... All in the heart of Los Angeles or Hollywood. These might be a little pricey but the website www.bookit.com might be able to give you a deal.
