Hello!
I live in MI, and am going to school for Health & Wellness. I came across a summer internship that I'm considering applying for after I discuss it with DH.
We currently rent a 1050 sq. ft. 2 bd/2 ba apartment, and if we moved to MD for the summer we'd sublease our apartment. Just curious how much housing costs are around that area. We're fine with moving into some place smaller. Preferably no less than 650 sq. ft. though.
However, the internship states, "Subsidized housing accommodations are available upon request." - It is a paid internship, but I don't know how much, and how much would be towards housing.

the fort has someone that can help you with this. with all the BRAC stuff they have offices dedicated to this stuff. I'm not sure how the short term lease thing would work, you might be better off in a homewood suites or one of those extended stay places. expect to pay 1200+ per month for rent in the area.
check with the BWI business partnership, they may have some info for you.
I obviously have no idea if I'll even get the internship, and even if I do it's not for another 7-8 months so I just want to be somewhat prepared.
I own a house about 5 miles from the base and I rent it out for $1450, but it's a 2 bed, so I would assume around 1000-1200 for a 1 bed depending on location.
