Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Re: Babywearing Poncho

  • I'd just find a poncho pattern I liked, being careful to pick one that would accommodate the horizontal opening on the chest/back (not one where the stitches come across the front and back diagonally, for instance) and just treat the opening like a giant buttonhole (chain over the stitches where you want the opening instead of crocheting into them). Then, I'd finish the pattern, and go back and add a row or two into the stitches that you skipped for the opening, putting buttonholes into the flap you create.
