Where is everyone???
I'm about to die over here, cause of death: suffocation by men's cologne. My boss came out and said "what is that smell!?" without seeing the client sitting in our waiting area. She was able to quickly catch herself and tell him how good he smelled. He claims he can't even smell himself anymore which is just down right impossible because I'm pretty sure we'll still be able to smell him come Monday.
What random things have happened to you guys today?

Ugh, I can't stand people that overdo it on scents. If I can still smell you after you've walked through the parking garage 5 minutes before me, you are wearing too much perfume.

Colognes and perfumes are really bothering me now that I am preggers. I actually screamed at poor DH one morning when he was getitng ready for work at 5 a.m. because he loves to spray a ton of cologne and I literally thought I was going to pass out. His underarm deodorant, believe it or not, is also bothering me, but I don't want him to be stinky, so I just keep my mouth closed on that one.
I am 18 weeks today. I have been going crazy here at work. Tonight is my last night of job 2 until who knows when. It has been looong 6 months there.
It also took me almost one hour to get from South Philly to Old City via SEPTA today.
I'm doing a 3 hour training online on Protecting human subjects in research while my kid is sleeping. It's so boring.
It's my 4th anniversary today.
I'm excited for Scandal and Grey's Anatomy tonight!
I am here at work for today. My kid has mild RSV (not in his lungs) and an ear infection and I haven't seen my husband since Sunday.
I'm tired and hoping to make it for Grey's and Scandal.
Cologne and perfume baths should be outlawed.
This dreary day is matching my grumpy mood.
I'm on the couch watching the Food Network and listening to DD grunt and fart in the pack-n-play. I'm trying so hard not to laugh out loud. She sounds like a little gremlin. I really would like her to fall back to sleep, but she seems content to just hang out there, so I'm keeping my distance. I've been trapped under her almost all day so the break is nice.
I also hate the over-perfumed. I used to work next to someone who would come in from her smoke break and douse herself in this awful-smelling stuff. It would drift over into my cube and stay there. I finally had to ask her to spray herself somewhere else because the stench gave me an instant sore throat.

I was on a walk at lunch and there was a man in a motorized scooter chair which was outfitted with a sound system and microphone, on the corner singing nonsensical songs at the top of his lungs. It kind of made my day.
Also, I found the most adorable red blazer at the Gap.
Aaaaaaaand we just had a caller that wanted to know if they had a claim for HIPAA violations because their doctor gave out medical information pertaining to their past life...
Yup. It's that kinda day.
I think I've seen this guy around before. That, or there are two guys singing on motorized scooters...
