How often do you check your bank? I check daily during the week. I have a spreadsheet where I track our spending, and make sure all the bills are coming out, etc.
PNC website is down and I'm about to have a small heart attack because I haven't been able to check it all day. I don't know why, but it's comforting to me to just make sure we have enough for everything. That and end of the month sucks for us, so I really just like to see things are ok. I know, I probably need help.

WHAT?! NO! Crazy
I check everyday. I also have a spread sheet showing each pay day amount, the bills coming out and whats left over after all bills are paid. After each bill is paid an x goes into the box noting that it has been paid, after the bill clears the account a second x gets added. At the end of the month the Amex gets paid off and the rest goes into savings.
