Anyone watch Grey's (spoiler)
I know there used to be a lot of that watched Grey's but interest has waned over the years. I still watch and thought last year's season was good. It is one of the only shows I watch anymore and one I was anticipating for the new season.
Any thoughts on the show last night? Anyone else disappointed that they didn't show what happened right after the crash? I was glad to see that next week's episode will be about that. But it seems stupid to show us what happens later and then next week show us what happened right after. It's anticlimatic. I already know who makes it, so there's no suspense! The only surprise could have been if they left us thinking Arizona died and then showed us next week it was really just her leg amputated. IDK. Just seems a stupid way to order things when it makes it less suspenseful.
And again, no suspense about Sloan since it was already out there that he was leaving the show. Wish they wouldn't leak that info ahead of time.
Anybody else think the timeline is a bit off. From Sloan's directive, they were supposed to pull the plug after 30 days. But 30 days doesn't seem enough time for Derrick to be completely healed and trying to operate. Granted he still had issues, but apparent had been cleared for surgery already. Seems like that would take longer.
I guess it's all par for the course with Grey's!

I'm still watching.I almost gave up after season 6, but last season sucked me back in.
I was thinking about that timeline as well, because at a later point Alex talks about how he was supposed to leave for his fellowship months ago. All I can think is that Sloan came back and was starting to heal, then had some kind of setback and went into a coma. I'm hoping that will be all worked out next week. I was so confused at the start of yesterday's episode. I'm also curious why they started months later, and then will go back to right after the crash next week.
It seems apparent that Meredith is the new Bailey for all the surgical interns. The mean, cold mentor because of her sister's death and husband's injuries.
I held it together for most of the episode last night, until they showed the home video of Mark with Sophia....then I lost it.
I agree about the timeline, I'm curious to see if they address that next episode.

The tears started when Mark and Derek were talking in the back of the wedding and Mark says that Derek will never find another friend like him. DONE!
It was a weird start to the season for sure, but I'm glad they're revisiting the crash next week.
I was confused about a few things too - I am also not sure I get the whole idea of showing us their lives post-crash this week, then showing us what happened during the crash next week. I'm hoping there's something interesting to reveal, but I agree, it seems anticlimactic.
Mark was so cute. I will miss him.
