help with business facebook description
I need some help ladies! I'm trying to help my MIL with her business facebook page description. She has it written but it needs to be smoother and I can't figure out how to fix it. Its like a big list but broken up with periods. Can anyone help rewrite this so it sounds smooth??
"The combination of talents by all staff members allows for the ability to cater to our clients in a variety of fields. Our clients include those working overseas in the oil and gas industry to the oilfield consultation state side. We do a variety of business people from home based business to professional. Automotive car dealers to Automotive Sales and Service. Veterinarians to Medical Clinics."
Re: help with business facebook description
Nowhere in this copy is the business actually described. They need to re-write with the assumption that the reader knows nothing about the organization.
I agree with the previous posters. She needs to give a background on her business and what the misson/vison of the business is.
When was the business established? Where is the business established? When referring to the clientele, perhaps you bullets (think PowerPoint presentation). Instead of being so specific about the Oil and Gas field and the Automotive field, just say that the company services that particular field. "Oil and Gas", "Automotive" etc.
Hope this helps.
The things that they have written are not a business descrption that should appear in a headline. It also does not flow. It needs to be rewritten. Introduce the company first. Mention something positive "award winning" "nationally recognized" "global company" "growing and expanding". Then go on to mention its dedication to customers and clientele (which I think is the point they were getting across)
No current clients should be mentioned in the info, this should be under "case studies" or "current clients" on a blog or website.
Also, PP is right, get out the words "field" just say things like oil and gas. It;s too wordy.
I don't mean to pull it apart it is just that branding is a number one essential element to a business doing well. Followed by service. If they aren't sure how to write it you can feel free to contact me via pm or at jcorvese at gmail dot com. I am not trying to sell my services ,but I do contract PR and branding for small companies. Or check out the PRSA and look for local contractors that can come in and meet with her to do some branding. Typically for a minimal cost (I'm talking under $200).
