I had a cold most of the week, felt better thursday, then yesterday a cough and heavy chest set in. My doc called in an inhaler for me (mine was like 18+ months old) and I already have heavy duty cough meds here, but the worst is the laryngitis! It is very hard to take care of 2 kids all day when I can barely speak and the very effort hurts like hell!!!!! And being sick makes me cranky and short tempered so I'm snapping at DH, who can't hear me b/c I can't talk and it makes it all worse.
ARGH. i'm not usually this parent but I'm so grateful for my son's new leapster GS keeping him occupied right now so they stop fighting and I can rest my voice.
Whiny vent over ;-)

Re: grrrr sick still/again
I hope the meds and inhaler work for you, and that you get your voice back & feel better soon!
Thanks Alicia. My voice has gotten better today, even Ben commented on it ;-) i def feel better than I did yesterday so that's a plus.
Now poor M went to bed with a 101.5 fever complaining her ear hurts. Seriously? At least J isn't traveling this week so he can help. But I pay a small damn fortune for daycare and all it does is bring home germs and lead to missed days.... so i'm paying the same amount but my kids are never there to be taken care of. What a racket.

Glad to hear you're feeling better. And glad to hear that J's around this week.
Hope you guys get a break from the illnesses!
