These past few weeks I've been getting lightheaded a lot and just generally feeling off. Has anyone experienced anything like that? I wonder if I'm getting anemic from BFing or something. I'm only nursing a couple of times a day, but I did stop taking a PNV forever ago.
Re: Lightheadedness
If it becomes disruptive talk to your doctor. They make medicine for that

Also, your blood pressure level can cause light headedness. If it keeps up, frequently, for a few more days, I would definitely call your PCP.
Feel better!
My three sons!
I had been feeling lightheaded, like I was in a cloud, hard time concentrating and solving problems, restless legs/body, tired and finally got the diagnoses of iron deficient anemia. For the past 10 plus years, my various PCP's have tried to treat a "possible low iron problem" with pills and it never helped get my iron levels back up and the side effects, for me, were just too much to handle.
I went to a hematologist after my new PCP said she had no clue and wasn't even going to begin to try and treat it and the hematologist diagnosed me...said it should have been diagnosed years ago. So, on Friday I had an iron infusion and I started to feel better on Sunday. I actually woke up on Saturday ready to conquer the world but I don't think the iron would have worked that fast, but who knows.
Since I also have GERD, and take a proton pump inhibitor for it, my body is never going to be able to absorb the iron so I will have to get the infusions every 8 months or so until who-knows-when. As long as it works, and I see drastic improvement in my quality of life, then I will do it.
