Anyone know of a place I can bring a filet of fish to be smoked? DH went to Alaska and brought fresh fish home and we're trying to find somewhere to take the Salmon. I tried google, but it didn't show any results. tia.
Re: Smoker - the food kind.
Reach out to these guys:http://wildforsalmon.com/contact-us/
They are based in Bloomsburg, fish in Alaska, but sell at the Phoenixville farmer's market. They may be able to connect you with a local processor. But I think you'd be hard-pressed to find one in SEPA, since we aren't known for fisheries.
You can also try doing it at home (maybe with your grill?): http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/smoked-salmon-recipe/index.html
